Non-riders are transported in our van and usually dropped off at the hotel before the cyclists arrive, giving them time to enjoy the hotel amenities or surroundings. We ensure they feel included in the overall experience.

  • No, our tours are not competitive events. The focus is on enjoying the journey, taking in the scenery, and exploring new places. Riders set their own pace, with guides leading and following the group. You’ll naturally form smaller groups along the route, with regular stops for cafes and photos. There’s no pressure to ride faster than you're comfortable with—our pace is relaxed and suits everyone.

  • Our tours cater to a wide range of fitness levels. While some routes are more challenging, we ensure that the pace and difficulty are suitable for the group. If you’re comfortable cycling for several hours a day and enjoy moderate physical activity, you’ll be just fine. We also offer e-bikes for those looking for an easier ride.

Travel

While our tours offer full guidance, a GPS lets you track your performance, control your pacing, and also serves as a useful backup if you choose to ride ahead. We provide detailed route maps that can be downloaded to your GPS on the day of the ride. Just ensure it’s fully charged before each ride.

Pack it securely using a bike case, and ensure all parts are well-protected with padding, especially fragile components like the derailleur and brake levers. You can take your time on descents or even ride in the support vehicle during particularly steep sections. We’re here to support you, and no one is pushed to ride faster or more aggressively than they’re comfortable with.

  • Our experienced mechanics are on hand to address any bike-related problems promptly. They can assist with on-the-road repairs, like fixing flat tyres or adjusting gears.   • Yes, we have a limited range of eBikes available to hire. Please express your interest using our booking page, and select eBike hire. Yes, we have eBikes available for hire on all our tours. eBikes are a great option for those who want extra support on climbs or prefer a more relaxed pace. They make cycling accessible to riders of all fitness levels and allow you to enjoy the tour without worrying about fatigue. Our eBikes are high-quality and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride.

  • Carbon wheels offer excellent lightweight and aerodynamic benefits, especially for climbing. However, on long, steep descents, rim brake carbon wheels can overheat, affecting braking performance and potentially causing tyre issues. To avoid this, use intermittent braking to allow cooling. For riders using disc brakes, carbon wheels perform exceptionally well. Leading brands like Zipp, Enve, and Mavic offer advanced options. We advise caution on longer descents and recommend frequent stops to prevent overheating.
