The Dolomites are arguably Italy’s greatest cycling destination. The unique terrain between the northern Alpes and the hot flatlands south has carved the landscape to give us these unique green rolling hills and unmistakable mountains towering through, There will be no mistake that you are in the Dolomites.

Our Dolomite tour is special compared to other tours, We prefer to ride our bike and not sit in a bus for hours passing amazing landscapes. Our tour starts in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliette, which is a tour in itself!

Our ride takes us from Verona across Lake Garda to Limone sul Garda and Riva del Garda up into Tyrol country. We will ride into the Arabba at the centre of the Dolomites through terrain that parallels the beauty of the Dolomites themself. From Arabba, we ride our famous Sella Ronda loop before descending back down all the way into Venice, not so fast, there are a couple of treats on the Way.

If these names mentioned like the 'Sella Rond' and Limone sul Garda don't have meaning, they soon will, they will be on the tip of your young for the years to come as one of your great life adventures.

We hope you have been with us from Como but if you are starting your Dolomites tour in Verona, it is ideal to come by train from Rome or Venice.

* We suggest to join us a few days before this tour starts relaxing at Villa Moron and a visit to the city of Romance in Verona following Romeo and Juliett.

*We also suggest staying one day longer for the additional day touring the glass-blowing city of  Murano and Venice sight by water.

Our first day on tour is a treat as we are staying a little out of town at a hillside hotel called, Villa Moron, Yep, we love the name as well.

We cannot be so close to the city of Romeo and Juliet or the ancient Roman Amphitheatre without a visit.

Our short gentle arrival warm-up day is a ride through the hills into old town Verona to see the peek tourist sights. Whether you want to leave a note for a loved one below Juliet's balcony sit for a classic opera in the open air or perhaps go shopping, Verona is a city to immerse yourself in history and fill your camera roll with great photos.

This day is about experiencing Verona and setting in. We offer the tour by bike or by car.

Our route to Verona through around the low mountains and vineyards to return to Villa Moron.

If you are just arriving, you might want to take a day to recover beside the pool overlooking the valley, or, do both

*We suggest you arrive a day early on the 7th, we will be there to greet you and it will give you a little more time to recover from travel beside the pool.

One of our favourite rides ever is the ride around Lago del Garda. We leave Villa Moron through farmland and vineyards traversing our way to Lago del Garda. After a coffee stop, we traverse the lake by ferry to arrive at Limone Sul Garda, We have a short day on the bike today as we want to arrive early for a refreshing swim at our hotel pool and have lots of time to explore Limone Sul Garda. Lots of quaint little shops, and entertainment. It is a surprise to us that the name has nothing to do with lemons but the town has adopted the locals have adopted the backstory. Everywhere you look in the old lakeside town is a great photo.

Coming into the Dolomites from the north is not only easier on your legs but also very scenic. We must stop in Badia for the best Strudel ever! You notice that the culture has changed, we are in a Tyrol community that is not Italian or Austrian but has influences of both.

After Corvara, we have 2 options to finish today's ride by offering, the smaller and easier Passo di Campolongo or the more challenging Passo Valparola.

We suggest Valporola because tomorrow we will be riding through Corvara and we don't like to ride on the same road twice.

After completing the famous Sella Ronde loop, we will start heading out of the Dolomites. We have great news for people who like riding downhill, today there is a lot.

Our route takes a turn to include a gem. The history and purpose for building the 100-day road may be not as well known as the actual road but after today, you will know all about both the history and tick the bucket list ride.

You will be the envy of friends and no longer will you need to say ‘my god, where is that’? When thinking back on your trip, the roads today will be the roads that stand out.

Today's plan is to arrive early and relax at the pool to finish with a great home-cooked dinner and quiet accommodation for a great sleep in preparation for Venice.

Today's gentle ride direct into a country house just outside Venice is the perfect finish to a tour. The best part about today is after arriving early, we have time for lunch and a swim. In the afternoon will take a ferry which is close to our hotel into Venice with a planned stop at Murano the glass-blowing island.

Venice is great, no question but for anybody who has taken the additional time to visit the glass-blowing island of Murano report it as a highlight, no need to plan, it is included in our trip.
