We start at the rooftop bar in the Spanish coastal seaport of Bilbao overlooking the city skyline at twilight. You may make some time on your arrival to visit the 2nd of the famous Guggenheim Museums. From Bilbao, we begin our journey to France along the rugged Basque coastline through small fishing villages to arrive at the iconic seaside town of San Sebastian for Tapas and Sangria in the old town. Our green route inland toward the Pyrenees is carefully chosen for smooth quiet roads all the way with the option to bag the trophy climb of Col d’Aubisque on arrival to Lourdes.
This route was chosen to offer exceptional landscape and cultural experiences on a route that is not too challenging.

We begin our journey in the Southwest of France in the beautiful region of Bordeaux with its urban elegance and provincial charm. Heading east along the Dordogne Valley we will indulge in the very best of the region and the top places to visit. This is not without challenge, our bike route follows carefully selected roads to offer some challenging but total immersion in the rich architecture, luxuriant valleys, and crystal-clear waters of the Dordogne River.
After 6 days of Dordogne discovery, we arrive at the southern tip of the Massif Centrale at Millau for a mini 3-night tour. From our hillside accommodation, we have poolside views of the famous Millau Viaduct and access to a few outstanding rides in the Gorges du Tarn. Our 3-day repose in Millau is no accident, we also offer the option to rendezvous for the excitement of le Tour de France.
We now will head south down from the hills for our Mediterranean coastal ride. The ride from Pezenas to Avignon is FULL of historic delights which include the Amphitheatre du Nîmes and Pont du Gard.
